The BATT™ is the standard for tin alloy laps. With more than 5,000 sold, it has established itself in Commerce and Competition time and again.

A SOLID cast tin alloy lap, with two usable sides, it still sells for significantly less than many commercial rolled tin laminated laps.

A BATT™ lap charged with 3,000 diamond (Or 8,000) provides a perfect pre-polish after cutting with 600, with a surface good enough to allow subsequent polishing in record time, on stones from Fluorite to Sapphire. A BATT™ lap charged with 50K or finer, or an oxide/ Darkside for the quartzes, promptly finishes the stone.

Retail Prices for CAST BATT™ products will be adjusted quarterly now, because of the volatility of tin prices in the last two years.

This year, tin hit $33,000 a ton, a 58% increase over the already bloated 2010 prices. It has since dropped and the prices adjusted to reflect this.

Changing prices every January, April, July and October is a terrible burden on my dealers, this company, and the customers. Everyone hates it, but the speculators and looters have left us little choice.

BATT™ DEVELOPMENT-Past, Present, Future.
